Abstract:
Objective To study the effect of immune-type enteral nutrition support on immune function of severe patients in ICU.Methods A total of 60 hospitalized patients in ICU in our hospital were divided into observation group(n=31) and control group(n=29).The observation group received immune enteral nutrition, while the control group was treated with normal enteral nutrition support. The changes of nutritional status indicators(serum albumin, prealbumin, transferrin), immune function indicators(CD4+, CD4/CD8) and immunoglobulin (IgA, IgG, IgM) levels, APACHA Ⅱ scores, ET and DAO levels of two groups before and after treatment were compared. And the changes IL-2 levels before and after treatment of two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the nutrition indicators were better in observation group than that in control group, CD4+, CD4/CD8, IgG, IgM, IgA levels were significantly increased in two groups, and ET, DAO were significantly decreased than treatment before, but the indicators of observation group were better than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, NK cell activity, concentration of IL-2 and IL-2 secretory cells were all significantly increased in two groups (P<0.05), and the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion EN support for ICU patients can improve nutritional status and immune function.
