Abstract:
Objective To explore influence of cluster nursing intervention for elderly patients with critical illness undergoing heparin-free continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).Methods Ninety-four patients with critical illness treated in our hospital were selected as the study objects, and were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with forty-seven cases in each group. The control group were given routine nursing intervention, and the study group were given cluster nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.Complication rate, filter usage and patients''compliance were observed in the two groups. Results The rates of infection, low temperature, blood coagulation, acid-base imbalance, hemorrhage, hypotension, and water electrolyte imbalance in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The use time of each filter, total time of filters and the number of 24 h using filter in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The compliance rate of the observation group was 91.49%, which was significantly higher than 76.60% of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Cluster nursing intervention can effectively reduce complications of elderly patients with critical illness in CRRT treatment, reduce filter replacement, and improve treatment compliance of patients.
