Abstract:
Objective To investigate the application of symptom management and transitional nursing care in improving postoperative adverse reactions, negative emotions and quality of life in patients with lung cancer.Methods A total of 110 lung cancer patients were selected in our hospital and the M.D.Transitional nursing care were investigated by Anderson Symptom Inventory, Lung Cancer Module and Cognitive Needs Questionnaire Survey.The evaluations were made before chemotherapy, after the first cycle of chemotherapy and after 3 cycles of chemotherapy.Results The incidence rate of nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fatigue and other symptoms in the second and third assessment were higher than in the first assessment (P<0.05), while the sputum, cough and respiratory depression and other symptoms were lower than that in first assessment (P<0.05), and sad, forgetful, bitterness and other negative emotions showed no obvious difference (P>0.05).In moods, entertainment and other activities, the incidence and severity of the symptoms in the second and third assessment were higher than in the first assessment (P<0.05).There were 80.91%(89/110) of patients unknown the basic content and the significance of transitional care and 97.27%(107/110) of patients attempted transitional nursing care.Conclusion Patients with lung cancer during the intermittent chemotherapy may increase the incidence of adverse reactions, affect their negative emotions, while the application of symptom management and transitional nursing care can improve postoperative adverse reactions, negative emotions, and improve quality of life.
