Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effects of early warning signs in prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT).Methods A total of 116 cases who had received abdominal operations were randomly divided into observation group (58 cases) and control group (58 cases).The control group received routine postoperative nursing care, while the observation group received additional DVT grading prevention according to the DVT risk grading and early warning signs.The preventative effects of two groups were compared and analyzed.Results The DVT incidence rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).Meanwhile, the DVT related acknowledge awareness rate and compliance rate were both higher in the observation group than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Early warning signs can prevent DVT in patients with abdominal operations, and significantly reduce DVT incidence.
