Abstract:
Objective To investigate the application effect of invasive blood pressure monitoring for large area burn patients and provide an important basis for rescue and treatment. Methods A total of 9 patients admitted in our department suffering from the Kunshan blast on August 2,2014 were reviewed. And 8 patients were performed invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring (IBPM) through the ECG monitor connected by a special pressure measuring pipe filled with heparin saline.Continuously invasive blood pressure was recorded by both artery pulse wave form and blood pressure value. Results The IBPM could present accurate, reliable and continuous arterial blood pressure data.It provided a reliable index for evaluating burn severity and treating the wounded. Conclusion IBPM has important significance in the rescue of patients with severe burn injury.Meanwhile, the blood gas analysis and laboratory test are allowed, which can avoid the pain and injury of blood vessel wall caused by repeated venipuncture.
