Abstract:
Objective To explore effect of family support intervention on treatment com-pliance and quality of life of patients with esophageal cancer.Methods A total of 80 patients with esophageal cancer in our hospital were divided into control group and observation group.The con-trol group was given conventional nursing and modified Ivor-Lewis surgery while the observation group was given six-month family support intervention on the basis of the control group,and treatment compliance and quality of life in both groups after intervention were observed.Results The treatment compliance rate and quality of life scores in the observation group were significantly higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Con-clusion Family support intervention can effectively improve patient’s treatment compliance,pro-mote recovery and improve quality of life.
