Influence of nursing intervention on the effect of Lingpixin in the prevention of urinary tract infection of indwelling urinary catheter in radical hysterectomy

Abstract:
Objective To observe influence of nursing intervention on the effect of Ling-pixin in the prevention of urinary tract infection of indwelling urinary catheter in radical hysterecto-my so as to improve the quality of life of patients.Methods 200 patients with first radical hys-terectomy were equally divided into control group and observation group.The patients in the con-trol group were given radical hysterectomy,and were given conventional nursing measures with Chlorhexidine after indwelling catheter.The patients in the observation group were added the Lingpixin spray twice a day based on the treatment in the control group.The incidence of urinary tract infection on the third day,the seventh day and the tenth day after indwelling catheter and the fourteenth day taking off the catheter were compared in the two groups.The occurrence rate of du-ration time of vaginal secretion after treatment and scab of vaginal discharge was compared in the two groups.The occurrence rate of allergic reactions such as itching and hot sensation in the ad-ministration site was compared.Results The incidence rate of urinary tract infection of the pa-tients in the observation group after catheter on the third day,the seventh day,the tenth day and the fourteenth day was significantly lower than that in the control group(P <0.05).The duration time of vaginal secretion of patients in the control group was (23.78±3.74)d,which was higher thanthat in the observation group (6 .5 2 ± 1 .0 9 )d ,the difference was statistical significant (P <0.01).The incidence rate of scab of vaginal discharge of patients in the control group was significantly higher than that in the observation group (P <0.05).The occurrence rate of allergic reactions such as itching and hot sensation in the administration site of patients in the control group was higher than that in the observation group,the difference was not statistical significant (P >0.05).Conclusion The Lingpixin nursing intervention for the patients with radical hys-terectomy could significantly reduce the incidence rate of urinary tract infection after indwelling urinary catheter,shorten the duration time of vaginal secretion,reduce the scab of vaginal dis-charge and improve quality of life of patients,so it is worthy of widely application in clinic.
