Abstract:
With the continuous improvement and development of light therapy, treatment methods based on light energy have been widely used clinically. The effect of light on hair growth, depending on the wavelength, pulse width, and energy level, can lead to a bidirectional action of inhibition or promotion. Based on the literatures, this review summarizes the mechanisms of inhibitory/promoting effects of various light therapies on hair growth and focuses on the characteristics of different therapies, aiming to provide reference for clinical work and basic research in the future.
