Abstract:
Pressure injury is a kind of chronic wound that is difficult to heal in clinical practice. The healing process often fails to proceed smoothly, which is one of the difficult problems in the field of clinical wound repair. At present, the wound treatment method has developed rapidly and has an obvious curative effect on stage 1 and 2 pressure injuries. There are fewer treatments for stage 3 and 4 pressure injuries, and surgical treatment is often used. However, surgical treatment has the risk of superimposed injury, which may aggravate the condition. In addition, the treatment effect needs to be improved. It is necessary to explore high-quality, minimally invasive, and low-cost solutions to solve this problem. This article reviews the definition, classification, formation mechanism, clinical manifestations, influencing factors, and treatment methods of pressure injury, aiming to provide a reference for the clinical treatment of pressure injury wounds.
