Abstract: Previous studies on adipogenesis mainly focused on induction culture in vitro. With the update of lineage tracing method, combined with the rapid development of single-cell sequencing in recent years, more comprehensive evidences have been obtained on the source and differentiation trajectory of adipocyte lineage in different states in vivo. In this paper, studies on the new-found sources of adipocyte tissue regeneration in vivo are reviewed.
