Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the influencing factors of the imaging quality of dynamic three-dimensional contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (3D-CEUS) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) .Methods:73 dynamic 3D-CEUS data of 67 lesions in 63 HCC patients confirmed by pathology and clinical follow-up were retrospectively analyzed .The imaging quality of dynamic 3D-CEUS was scored .Effects of various factors on the imaging quality of HCC dynamic 3D-CEUS arterial phase were analyzed:whether the lesion was primary ,location of the lesion ,size ,depth ,blood supply ,patients'breathing during the arterial phase and whether there was liver cirrhosis .Results:The imaging quality of dynamic 3D-CEUS in the arterial phase of 73 HCC was assessed as 3 points ,2 points and 1 point for 51 times (69 .9% ) ,13 times (17 .8% ) and 9 times (12 .3% ) respectively .Whether the lesion was primary or not ,location of the lesion ,size and whether there was liver cirrhosis had no significant influence on the imaging quality of HCC dynamic 3D-CEUS .Depth of the lesion ,blood supply and patients’ breathing during the arterial phase had significant influence on the imaging quality of HCC dynamic 3D-CEUS ( P= 0 .028 , 0 .000 ,and 0 .000 ,respectively) .Conclusions:Depth of the lesion more than 8 cm ,lack of blood supply and patients’ poor breathing during the arterial phase could affect the imaging quality of HCC dynamic 3D-CEUS ,whereas whether the lesion is primary or recurrent ,location of the lesion ,size and liver cirrhosis have no significant influence on the imaging quality of HCC dynamic 3D-CEUS .
