Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the ultrasonographic findings of breast ductal carcinoma in situ and the causes of misdiag-nosis .Methods :Ultrasonographic features of 17 cases with breast ductal carcinoma in situ which were confirmed by operation and pathology were retrospectively reviewed .Results:Among the 17 cases of lesions ,according to the ultrasonic diagnosis there were 14 cases of malignant tumor ,2 cases of benign lesions ,and 1 case with no mass .Diagnostic coincidence rate was 82 . 3% by ultrasound .According to the characteristics from literatures and lesions in this study ,17 cases of lesions were roughly classified into 5 categories :solid mass(6 cases) ,conduit ectasia(5 cases) ,architecture disorder(4 cases) ,cystic mass(1 case) , other type(1 case) .Conclusions :The ultrasonographic findings of breast ductal carcinoma in situ are varied .Fully understand-ing the ultrasonographic features of breast ductal carcinoma in situ which can decrease missed-diagnosis ,combined with mam-mography examination and breast duct endoscopy which can reduce misdiagnosis ,will improve the diagnostic coincidence rate .
