Abstract:
Objective To compare the clinical effect of laparoscopic high-ligation of inguinal hernia sac and routine surgery in treating children with inguinal hernia.Methods Totally 60 children with inguinal hernia were divided into laparoscopy group and routine operation group.Laparoscopy group was treated with laparoscopic high-ligation of hernia sac,while routine operation group was treated with traditional high-ligation of hernia sac.The general operation indexes,complications and recurrence condition were compared between two groups.Results The length of incision,intraoperative bleeding,operation time and time of hospitalization in laparoscopy group were significantly lower than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in cost of hospitalization between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).In the laparoscopy group,detection rate of contralateral occult hernia was significantly higher than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The incidence rate of complications was significantly lower than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional surgery,laparoscopic high-ligation of hernia sac can shorten operation time and hospitalization time,and reduce postoperative complications.
