Abstract:
Objective To compare the measurement differences of front rake of acetabular prosthesis between intraoperative direct measurement and different measurement methods after operation in patients with total hip arthroplasty (THA).Methods An intuitionistic measurement of the angle of the acetabular prosthesis was performed by a double arm stainless steel angle ruler during the operation, and the angle of the acetabular prosthesis after operation was detected on X-ray of hip joint according to the methods proposed by Mclaren,Ackland and Pradhan.Degree of the angle of acetabular prosthesis after operation was detected by the same definition and reference. Results The angles of acetabular prosthesis detected between intraoperative direct measurement and methods proposed by Mclaren,Ackland and Pradhan were (9.09-± 1.66) °,(9.33 ± 1.35) ° and (5.64 ± 1.26) °,and there were significant differences (P < 0.01).Deviation of angle of acetabular prosthesis detected between intraoperative direct measurement and method proposed by Pradhan was the lowest. Conclusion Deviation of angle of acetabular prosthesis is the lowest between intraoperative direct measurement and method proposed by Pradhan.
