Abstract:
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy and safety of breast conserving operation combined with sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) in elderly patients with breast cancer.Methods Clinical data of 20 elderly patients with breast cancer received breast conserving operation combined with SLNB in our hospital was retrospectively analyzed.Sixty-two elderly patients with breast cancer at the same time received traditional operation in our hospital were chosen as control group.The general information,perioperative condition,the incidence of complications and psychological status between two groups were compared.Results The general information in two groups had no significant differences (P ＞ 0.05).The intraoperative blood loss,the operation time,extubation time,the total drainage volume in observation group were obviously lower than that in control group (P ＜ 0.01).The incidence of complications in observation group was obviously lower,the psychological status was better than that in control group (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of breast conserving operation combined with SLNB is obvious,it can not only promote postoperative recovery,but also decrease the complication and improve life quality,so it is worth promoting.
