Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To study the clinical effects of Yangyin Runmu Pill in the treatment of dry eye disease.METHODS 120 cases with dry eye disease were randomly divided into two groups with 60 cases in each group.Patients in the treatment group were treated with oral Yangyin Runmu Pill and those in the control group were given Tears Naturale Forte Eye Drops. And the curative effects of two groups were to be compared after 20 days of treatment.RESULTS The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 86.7% and 63.3% respectively,with a statistical significance(P <0.05).In the treatment group,Schirmer test(SIT) showed an obvious increase of lacrimal secretion and also the tear break-up time (BUT) was extended obviously after treatment,which displayed a significant difference from those before the treatment as well as those in the control group of the same period(P <0.01).The ocular surface staining of the treatment group after treatment was obviously better than that of the control group (P <0.01).CONCULSION Yangyin Runmu Pill can improve ocular sur-face symptoms effectively and has exact curative effects for dry eye disease,which makes it worthy of clinical application and promotion.
