Clinical Observation of Influence of Yuquanwan Decoction on Inflammatory Cytokines in Type 2 Diabetic Kidney Disease

Abstract: ABSTRACT:OBJECTIVE To investigate the influence of Yuquanwan decoction on inflammatory cytokines in type 2 diabetic kidney disease(DKD).METHODS 80 cases with Type 2 diabetic kidney disease were randomly divided into two groups:the control group(40 cases)and the treatment group(40 cases).The control group was given benazepril hydrochloride tablets with 10mg per day.And health education,diet control and physical exercises were also performed.Besides the above ways of treat-ment,the treatment group was given Yuquanwan decoction.Changes of mA1b,24 hUmTP,HbA1c,TNF-α and IL-1 were observed before and after the treatment.RESULTS mA1b,24 hUmTP,HbA1c,TNF-α and IL-1 in the treatment group showed significant decrease(P <0.01) and the difference between the two groups had significant statistical significance(P <0.05~0.01).CONCLUSION Yuquanwan decoction can decrease inflammatory cytokines,thus protecting kidney function in DKD.
