Regulating effect of guizhi fuling pills on extracellular regulated protein kinase and sex hormone in women with endometriosis

Abstract: Objective To explore the regulating effect of guizhi fuling pills on extracellular protein kinase and sex hormones in women with endometriosis(EMs).Methods A total of 94 women with EMs were randomly divided into two groups.In the control group,gestrinone capsules were given orally,and the observation group was given oral administration of guizhi fuling pills.The levels of extracellular regulated protein kinase and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)were measured.The diameter of pelvic mass was evaluated by color Doppler ultrasonography.The TCM symptom score was evaluated and the curative effect was compared.Results Compared with those before treatment,FSH,LH and P significantly decreased(P<0.01),E2 increased significantly(P<0.01),MMP-2 and MMP-9,ERK,ERK-5 and VEGF decreased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the levels of these indexes in the observation group were significantly better(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion Guizhi fuling pills is an effective adjuvant therapy for EMs,which can effectively regulate the levels of ERK and sex hormones.
