- Abstract: Objective To study the effect of holistic nursing intervention on thyroid cyst operation and its correlation with prognosis.Methods A total of 90 patients who underwent thyroid cyst operationin our hospital were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, with 45 cases in each group.The whole nursing intervention was used in the observation group and the routine nursing intervention in the control group.The scores of anxiety and depression, postoperative pain, postoperative complications, operation time and length of stay were compared between the two groups.Results The pain rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).Compared with treatment before, the SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were significantly decreased after treatment, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).And the time of operation and hospital stay were significantly shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The postoperative complication rate was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Holistic nursing intervention can shorten the operation time and hospital stay of thyroid cyst, relieve anxiety and depression, reduce the pain and reduce the postoperative complications.It has a good effect on the patients'' operation and prognosis.
