Abstract: ABSTRACT:Objective To explore the application of evidence-based nursing of patients with transurethral resection of prostate (TURP).Methods Main database and searching engine were used to collect the literatures of randomized controlled trials (RCT)and non-randomized con-trolled trials (NRCT)applying evidence-based nursing for.The literatures were screened by quali-ty assessment and meta-analysis of STATA11.0 software was applied.Results There were sta-tistical significant differences in the incidence of bladder spasms,secondary hemorrhage,temporary incontinence,the average length of hospitalization and patients’satisfaction after operation in the two groups,which suggested that evidence-based nursing was superior.Conclusion The applica-tion of evidence-based nursing on TURP could reduce the incidence of bladder spasms,secondary hemorrhage,temporary incontinence and the average length of hospitalization and increase patients’ satisfaction.However,the samples of research are small,so clinical RCT trials in large scale are needed for further assessment analysis.
