Abstract:
Objective To investigate the mechanism of Danzhi Yin (Pony Bark Jasmine Fruit Decoction,DZY) in treating mice with sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease (SPID).Methods 24 mice were randomly divided into the blank group, model group,DZY group and aspirin group. The SPID model was established by intrauterine infection with chlamydia muridarum. After treatment, serum levels of IL-6 and IL-8 were detected by using ELISA.The protein expression of MCP-1,MIP-2,and p-JNK were detected with Western blot. The protein phosphorylation of JNK was measured with immunochemistry technology. Results Compared with blank group,IL-6,IL-8,p-JNK,MCP-1,and MIP-2 levels in the model group were significantly higher (P < 0.01).Compared with model group,IL-6,IL-8,p-JNK,MCP-1,and MIP-2 levels in the DZY group were significantly lower (P < 0.01).Conclusion DZY may play an anti-inflammatory role by regulating the levels of cytokines (IL-6,IL-8) in serum.DZY may inhibit the inflammation through suppression of JNK signal transduction pathway.
