Abstract:
Objective To explore the establishment of Chinese medical health checkup service (CMH-CS)mode.Methods A retrospective study on employees of a public institution,who underwent CMHCS in Center of Preventive Treatment of Diseases,Beijing Chinese Medicine Hospital,Capital Medical Uni-versity from 2014 to 2015.The effects of CMHCS was evaluated by comparison of satisfaction,life-activi-ty style and change of TCMconstitutions before (in 2013)and after (in 2014,2015)CMHCS.Results Employee satisfaction increased significantly in 2014 (91.75%)and in 2015 (93.06%),compared with that in 2013 (77.23 %)(P <0.01).After physicals in 2014,the three health risks were highlight-ed,including inappropriate diet,shortage of physical activity and irregular daily schedule.Then Chinese medical healthcare education directed at the three risks with TCMcontitution bias.In 2015,the life and activity style improved significantly compared with that in 2014(P <0.01).Furthermore,TCMconstitu-tion of population who underwent the intervention of “differentiation of constitution and recuperation”for three months improved significantly,compared with those of people who didn’t undergo the intervention (P <0.01 ).Conclusion CMHCS mode,composed of differentiation of TCM constitution,TCM four examinations,TCM check of meridians and collaterals,interpretation of TCM examination report,and education of TCM healthcare,is a supplement of Western medical checkup service.CMHCS mode, which is combined with Preventive Treatment of Diseases,will meet the people’s requirement of health, and is worthy of further study.
