Abstract:
The TCM term “harmonizing therapy”,stemming from Huangdi Neijing, includes relieving symptoms of the Shaoyang Meridian, soothing the liver and spleen, and regulating the liver and stomach function.Harmonizing therapy, one of common used TCM clinical therapies, reflects the harmonious thoughts of ancient Chinese philosophy.Physicians of generations couldn't find out any way to convince the others on “harmonizing therapy”due to the various methodologies.Using the scientific dialectics to reason the therapy broadly and narrowly from its abstract therapeutic principle, its concrete treatments and its curative effects, the features of connotation were identified in different levels and points.Further-more,the contention of“harmonizing therapy”should be treated dialectically, which should not be limit-ed to be a certain therapy despite of degree and premise.Using dialectics to guide TCM basic theory may supply new thinking and ideas for modern TCM clinical practice.
