Influences of Compound Kusanqi Capsules on expressions of Bcl-2, Bax, Fas and FasL of colonic mucosal cells in rat model of ulcerative colitis

Abstract:
Objective To observe the interventional effect of Compound Kusanqi Capsules on the apoptosis of colonic mucosal cells in rat model of ulcerative colitis (UC).Methods The rat model of UC was established by administrating dinitrochlorbenzene (DNCB), alcohol and acetic acid. The model then was intervened by Compound Kusanqi Capsules in high dose, middle dose and low dose respectively. The curative effect was observed through detecting the expressions of modulin Bcl-2, Bax, Fas and FasL of colonic mucosal cells in the model.Results After the intervention for 15 days the expressions of Bcl-2, Bax, Fas and FasL of colonic mucosal cells were improved in varying degrees in the groups of high-dose, mid-dose and low-dose Compound Kusanqi Capsules, which had significant difference statistically compared with those in the model positive control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion Compound Kusanqi Capsules has the regulation effect on the apoptosis of colonic mucosal cells in rat model of UC.
