Abstract:
The modern development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is reflected mainly in three aspects: teaching, research and clinical practice, and all of them depend on literature research. The content of TCM teaching at the past time was mostly originated from literature, and in the future the reform of TCM teaching will rely on the literature research. TCM research should be conducted on the base of the research of TCM literature, and the research thought cannot be deviated the theory of TCM. More research objectives will be figured out from TCM literature, so the literature research is important to the full-play of TCM advantages in disease treatment, broadening clinical thinking and improvement of TCM curative effect.
