Abstract:
Clear aligner (CA) treatment achieves therapeutic goals through digital dental models and tooth movement planning. In recent years, with the increasingly wider clinical application of CA, orthodontists are frequently faced with the important choice of tooth extraction or non-extraction in treatment planning. This article addresses the approaches of providing spaces, the importance and criteria of choosing extraction or non-extraction plans, and the strategy of using digital treatment simulation.
