Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and safety of triamcinolone acetonide injection combined with levofloxacin hydrochloride ear drops in the treatment of patients with acute suppurative otitis media.Methods Forty-six patients with acute suppurative otitis media were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,23 cases in each group.Control group was given levofloxacin hydrochloride ear drops,7 drops,bid.Treatment group was treated with triamcinolone acetonide injection 40 mg,2 times a week,intravenous drip,on the basis of control group.Before and after treatment,symptom score,air conduction threshold levels,efficiency of treatment and safety were compared between two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rates of treatment group and control group were 95.65 ％ (22 cases/23 cases),73.91％ (17 cases/23 cases),with significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the symptom scores in treatment group and control group were 2.93 ± 0.41,1.15 ± 0.16,air conduction threshold levels were (22.86 ± 3.26),(16.29 ±2.32)dB,all with significant difference (all P ＜ 0.05).The adverse drug reactions in control group were ear burning,dizziness,with the incidence of 8.69％ (2 cases/23 cases).The adverse drug reactions in treatment group were pain at injection site,ear fullness,with the incidence of 13.04％ (3 cases/23 cases).There was no significant difference between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The triamcinolone acetonide for intratympanic injection combined with levofloxacin hydrochloride ear drops can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and hearing in patients with acute suppurative otitis media,improve clinical efficacy,and have high safety.
