Abstract:
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of different doses of atorvastatin calcium tablets in the treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease.Methods A total of 40 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease were randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 20 cases per group.Control group was given atorvastatin calcium 20 mg,qd,oral before sleeping.Treatment group was given atorvastatin calcium 40 mg,qd,oral before sleeping.Two groups were treated for 6 months.The clinical efficacy,blood lipid,levels of neck vascular plaque and adverse drug reactions were compared between two groups.Results Six months after treatment,the total effective rates in treatment and control groups were 95.00％ (19 cases/ 20 cases) and 85.00％ (17 cases/20 cases) with significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).The 3,6 months after treatment,the levels of total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were (2.61 ± 0.31),(1.32 ± 0.23),(1.98 ± 0.31) mmol · L-1 and (2.23 ±0.27),(1.06 ± 0.21),(1.75 ± 0.26) mmol · L-1,respectively;plaque length,plaque thickness and plaque area were (7.08 ± 0.17) mm,(1.27 ±0.15) mm,(8.99 ± 1.10) mm2 and (6.76 ± 0.21) mm,(1.18 ±0.26)mm,(8.01 ±1.14)mm2,respectively.In the control groups,the levels ofTC,TG and LDL-C were (3.67±0.47),(1.56±0.29),(2.63 ±0.27)mmol.L-1 and (3.54±0.41),(1.42±0.25),(2.37 ±0.31) mmol · L-1,respectively;plaque length,plaque thickness and plaque area were (7.87 ± 0.23) mm,(1.83 ± 0.14) mm,(14.40 ±3.62)mm2 and (7.21 ±0.35)mm,(1.34 ±0.31)mm,(9.66±1.25)mm2,respectively.The differences were statistically significant (all P ＜ 0.05).1 case of abdominal distension was reported in the treatment group,1 case of nausea occurred in the control group,and the incidences of adverse drug reactions in both groups were 5.00％ without significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of atorvastatin calcium tablets 40 mg in the treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease was equivalent to that of atorvastatin calcium tablets 20 mg,but the former has the more obvious advantages of reducing fat and reversing the blood vessel plaque in the neck,without increasing the incidence of adverse drug reactions.
