Abstract:
Objective To evaluate clinical pharmacists participation in the diagnosis and treatment of drug-induced liver injury.Methods By asking the past medical history of patient and consulting literatures,clinical pharmacists identified liver injury induced by omeprazole and/or octreotide and gave the advice that stopping the two drugs.Liver function recovered very soon.Results and conclusion By participating in consultation and thinking from drugs,clinical pharmacists can discover the cases of drug-induced liver injury and raise the idea of discontinue drugs and other therapy.
