Abstract:
Myocardial fibrosis (MF) is a common pathologic change in the development of a variety of heart diseases to a certain stage and is one of the major manifestations of myocardial remodeling.This pathological changes exist in a variety of cardiovascular diseases,and arrhythmia,heart failure and other diseases are closely related.Wnt signaling pathway has the biological function of regulating cell growth,autophagy,proliferation and apoptosis.Wnt can regulate the activation of cardiac fibroblasts(CFS) and the deposition of extracellular matrix(ECM),which plays an important role in the development of myocardium fibrosis(MF).The Wnt signaling pathway suppresses CFS activation and ECM deposition by antagonizing the abnormal activation of the Wnt signaling pathway,suggesting that regulation of Wnt pathway signaling may become a potential MF therapeutic target.This article mainly on the Wnt signal pathway and myocardial fibrosis for a review,for the clinical treatment to provide a new direction.
