Abstract:
Objective To measure polyethyleneglycol 15000 which is the main degradation product of dural sealant material for the degradation study in vitro.Methods The samples were taken into pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solution at 70 ℃for the method of accelerated degradation in vitro and 37 ℃for the method of degradation in vitro respectively.Sealed the samples and measured the content of PEG15000 in the degradation solu-tion and the remaining colloid.Results After the colloid were added in-to pH 7.4 PBS buffer solution, they expanded slightly but still main-tained the original shape and bright blue, and then they lost original shape of transparent micelle and colorless, they turned into colorless transparent floc gradually, finally it became bright blue transparent liquid. Conclusion The in vitro degradation time of dural sealant material conformed to the physiological processes requirements of dural healing.
