Abstract:
Objective To observe the effects of different concentrations Jisuikang on spinal cord -evoked potentials after spinal cord injury in rats. Methods Sixty SD rats were divided into 6 groups randomly ,sham group, model group, control group(prednisone,0.06 g· kg -1· d-1), the high -dose , mid -dose , low -dose ( Jisuikang , 50 , 25 , 12.5 g· kg -1 · d-1 ) test groups. The sensory evoked potentials ( SEP) and motor evoked potentials ( MEP) were tested at preoperative and postoper-ative 0, 3, 7, 14, 28 d.Then the changes of the incubation period and amplitude were observed. Results Test mid-dose group has precede effect than test-L group and the test -H on the changes of the SEP in-cubation period and amplitude , but no obvious difference compared with control group. The test mid-dose group has the same effect with control group on the MEP incubation period , better than test high -dose group and test low-dose group.Test mid-dose group has precede effect than other groups on the MEP amplitude. Conclusion The mid -dose Jisuikang has the best curative effect for neural functional recovery after spinal cord injury.
