Abstract:
Objective To observing the acute toxicity of mesenchymal stem cell ( MSC) in the ICR mice.Methods The ICR mice were divi-ded three groups based on the preliminary experiment , including high-dose of MSC group(2.0 ×108 cells? kg-1 ), low-dose of MSC group(1.0 ×107 cells? kg-1 ) and control group(normal saline), each group has 20 mice ( male and female, 1∶1).And then all the cells were tested respectively by the classic methods of acute toxicity in ICR mice. The reactions of mice to MSC was observed after single dosing of 20 mL? kg-1 MSC through tail vein administration.Results There are no difference on the weight in three groups. But compared with the control group, the weight and weight index of the spleen and lung of the male mice in test-high and test-low dose group increased obviously. Besides, weight index of lung of the female mice in high -dose group increased evidently.Conclusion There are no obvious adverse drug reaction after administration MSC except that MSC has a stranded in some parts such as lung and spleen.
