Abstract:
Objective To discuss the therapeutic strategy of old patients with aspiration pneumonia.Methods Clinical pharmacists implemented pharmaceutical care of an old patient with aspiration pneumonia.Knowl-edge of pharmacokinetic, pharmacology and adverse drug reactions were adopted to optimize the dosage regime and realize individualized therapy.Results The participation of pharmacists in the therapeutic course of as-piration pneumonia for this old patient showed positive role in many as-pects, such as choice of varieties of the drugs, adjustment of different ad-ministration, the reducing of adverse drug reactions.The patient was suc-cessfully recovered.Conclusion The participation of pharmacists in clinical drug treatment maximizes the drug effect, and reduces the ad-verse drug reactions.The safe, effective, economic and reasonable medi-cation were ensured.
