Abstract:
Objective To investigate the expression of inhibitor of differentiafion-1 ( Id-1) in tissues of cervical cancer , cervical intrae-pithelial neoplasma ( CIN) and normal cervical tissue , and its correlation with Ki -67.Methods The expression of Id -1 were examined in cervical cancer (60 cases), CIN (37 cases of CIN I and 23 cases of CINⅡ-Ⅲ) , and normal cervical tissues by immunohistochemical SP method. The expression of Ki -67 in 60 cervical cancer tissue were detected and the correlation between the expression of Id-1 and Ki-67 protein in cervical carcinoma were analyzed .Results The positive rates of Id -1 were 6.67%, 10.81%, 56.52% and 76.67% in normal tissue, CIN I, CIN II -III and cervical cancer tissues , respectively (P<0.05), and 10.00%, 21.62%, 65.21%, 80.00% in terms of the positive rate of Ki-67.The expressions of Id -1 and Ki-67 were positively correlated with the degree of cancer differentiation , vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis, and International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage (P<0.05).Conclusion Up-regulation of Id-1 expression may have a certain relationship with the occurrence and development of cervical cancer , and the expression of Id -1 and Ki-67 has synergistic effect on the occurrence and development of cervical cancer .
