Abstract:
Objective To analyze the correlation of acquired pneumonia in patients receiving ICU mechanical ventilation and omeprazole use time.Methods One hundred and twenty patients with ICU receiving mechanical ventilation were randomized chosen to receive omeprazole treatment for 3, 5, 7, 15 d.Gastric pH value, stress ulcer incidence , ventilator associated pneumonia incidence , infection dominant flora were compared;correlation of acquired pneumonia and the omeprazole use time was analyzed.Results 3 d group, 5 d group, 7 d group, 15 d group gastric juice pH were respectively ( 1.53 ±0.31 ) , ( 2.74 ±0.74 ) , (5.21 ±1.23 ) , ( 6.42 ±1.42 ); the incidences of stress ulcer were 16.67%, 13.33%, 10.00%, 3.33%;the incidence of ventilator asso-ciated pneumonia were 26.67%, 33.33%, 40%, 46.67%;ventilator-associated pneumonia and stress ulcer dominant flora compliance incidence rate was as high as 50%.Conclusion Omeprazole use of time is posi-tively correlated with gastric pH value , ventilator -associated pneumonia cases , and negatively correlated with the number of stress ulcer cases.
