Abstract:
Objective To observe the protective effects and mechanism of Panax notoginseng saponins(PNS)on the renal interstitial fibrosis rats. Methods Adenine gavage method used rat model of renal fibrosis, the experimental animals were divided into the test group(PNS,dose of 35 mg·kg~(-1)·d~(-1),fed for 4 weeks)and model group, and the establishment of the lank normal group. In the model after 4,7 weeks, the serum cell adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1),24-hour urine protein auantitative changes and a-smooth muscle actin(a-SMA)were observed. Results In test and model group, the serum ICAM-1,24-hour urine protein, renal a-SMA in the concentration level and renal fibrosis and other indicators higher than the normal group(P<0.05),but test group lower model group(P<0.05).Conclusion Panax notoginseng saponins might inhibit tubuloin terstitial fibrosis in adenine nephropathy rat model by suppressing the level of ICAM-1 in serum and the expression of a-SMA in the tubulointerstitial.
