Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of compound glycyrrhizin injection for the treatment of radiation-induced liver disease. Methods Sixty-six patients with the first and the second class of radiation-in-duced liver impairment were randomly divided into the trial group and the control group. Diammonium glycyrrhizinate injection and comprehensive treatment were used in the control group. Compound glycyrrhizin injec-tion and the comprehensive treatment were used in the trial group. Com-pound glycyrrhizin injection was administered intravenously with the dose 60-100 mL· d~(-1) , and the course of treatment was 4 weeks. After that, compound glycyrrhizin tablets were given with the dose 150 mg · d~(-1) for another 12 weeks. Results The treatment efficacy rate of liver-func-tion parameters of the trial group was much higher than that of the control group (P < 0. 05). Conclusion Compound glycyrrhizin injection was ef-fective and safe in the treatment of the radiation-induced liver impair-ment.
