Abstract:In recent years, the level of physical activity among children and adolescents in China has been gradually declining, and it is significantly impacted by the family environment. The article illustrated how physical activity level of children and adolescents is impacted by the family s natural material environment, which mainly includes the family s residential environment, economic status, screen environment, and sports facilities, as well as by the psychosocial environment which reflects the family s psychological status, intimacy, parenting style and internal structure. The aim is to provide a reference for research on the impact of the family environment on the physical activity of children and adolescents.
