Abstract:
Objective To investigate the living conditions of patients with hypertension and their medication compli-ance in the Karamay area to provide evidence for the clinical management of hypertension. Methods Living conditions, medication compliance and related conditions of 239 cases of hypertensive patients were surveyed and analyzed by questionnaire. Results Knowledge of self blood pressure level rate within the jurisdiction was 61.51%, control rate was 53.56%and 156 cases (65.27%) of the 239 cases surveyed followed doctors'instructions to take medicine. Blood pres-sure was related to age, smoking, obesity, family history, alcohol consumption and other factors. Conclusion Although many patients'blood pressures are under control in the jurisdiction, they are still not satisfied with their physical con-dition. As grassroots health workers, we need to further strengthen health education, actively implement the personal-ized management of patients and help them to improve their quality of life.
