Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with hepatic metastasis from colorectal cancer treated with transhepatic arterial chemoemholization (TACE). Methods Sixty-eight patients diag-nosed as hepatic metastasis from colorectal cancer by biopsy were involved in this study. Patients were randomly divid-ed into observation group (n=34) and control group (n=34). All patients underwent TACE. Patients in the observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention and the patients in the control group received routine nursing care. Perioperative anxiety state and health status were observed. Results Observation group had significantly lower HAMD and HAMA scores(P<0.05) and better life quality (P<0.05) than control group. Conclusion Comprehensive nursing in-tervention is necessary for patients with hepatic metastasis from colorectal cancer treated with TACE.
