Abstract:
Objective To compare the efficacy of ureteral calculi with holmium laser lithotripsy extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. Methods A retrospective analysis from January 2012 to January 2014 in our hospital ,holmium laser lithotripsy of ureteral calculi were 50 cases, the establishment of the observation group, stones single 40 cases, 10 cases of multiple. On the left side in 27 cases, 21 cases on the right side, bilateral two cases. Stone size 0.3~ 2.1cm. Choose another same period of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy 50 cases as control group , stones single 41 cases, 9 cases of multiple. On the left side in 25 cases, the right side in 22 cases, bilateral in 3 cases. Stone size 0.4~ 2.2 cm. The operative time stone clearance rate of three-month and complications were compared between two groups. Used SPSS12.0 statistical software for data analysis, which counted stone clearance rate and other data between groups using chi-square test comparing surgical time measurement data groups were compared using t Test. Results The mean oper-ative ureteral calculi in patients in the observation group was significantly shorter than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Observation group stones ≥ 1 cm in patients with ureteral calculi net 3 months stone free rate was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Holmium laser lithotripsy extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy over the treatment of ureteral calculi with shorter operative time, a row of stone success rate , fewer complications, should be popularized and applied.
