Abstract: Systemic immune-inflammation index is an effective index reflecting the inflammation and immune state of the body. The calculation formula is platelet count×neutrophil count/lymphocyte count. Because the test of SII is simple and does not increase the burden of patients, SII has been applied to the prognosis assessment of patients with various types of tumors. There are many studies on SII for predicting the prognosis of esophageal cancer, gastric cancer and colorectal cancer after treatment. The patients with higher SII have poorer prognosis. The combination of SII and other inflammatory index will have higher clinical application value.
