A case report of synchronous triple cancers in the urinary and male reproductive system

Abstract: Multiple primary cancers are rare, and synchronous multiple primary cancers occurring in the urinary system are even rarer. This article reported a male patient with synchronous multiple cancers in the urinary and male reproductive system. The patient was admitted due to left hip joint pain and the possibility of malignancy in the prostate and kidney metastasis was not ruled out. Biopsy of the prostate and right kidney revealed prostate adenocarcinoma with a Gleason score of 5+ 5 and clear cell renal cell carcinoma, respectively. Because an MRI indicated a bladder lesion, transurethral resection of the bladder tumor was performed, which revealed low-grade papillary urothelial carcinoma of the bladder. After seven months of combined chemotherapy, the patient died 16 months after surgery due to multiple metastases of the tumors throughout the body.
