Abstract: Osteosarcopenia is a geriatric syndrome referring to the co-existence of osteoporosis and sarcopenia.Its pathogenesis involves factors such as genetics, mechanics of the musculoskeletal system, endocrine regulatory mechanisms and molecular signaling pathways.In clinical practice, aside from comprehensive assessment of risk factors, screening of bone density, muscle strength, muscle mass and the overall body function must also be undertaken.Intervention measures primarily include therapeutic exercise, nutritional support and drugs.
