- Abstract: Cardiovascular disease has become a major public health problem to be solved due to its high incidence rate,high mortality and heavy economic and social burden.Mitochondrial quality control is the cornerstone of maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis and plays an important role in the occurrence and progression of cardiovascular diseases.Some studies have found that Sirt1/Sirt3 signal is involved in the mechanism of myocardial mitochondrial quality control,and has gradually become an important target for cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment.At the same time,research shows that traditional Chinese medicine can regulate the quality control of myocardial mitochondria based on Sirt1/Sirt3 signal,and improve cardiovascular disease,but research is still insufficient.Therefore,this article reviews the research related to the influence of Sirt1/Sirt3 signal on the mitochondrial quality control of cardiovascular disease and proposes new ideas in combination with traditional Chinese medicine,with a view to providing a basis and direction for the research on the target of cardiovascular disease and the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
