Abstract:
Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a kind of involuntary urinary incontinence caused by various etiologies. It has a high incidence in middle-aged women and seriously affects the physical and mental health of patients. The treatment methods for SUI include lifestyle therapy, drug therapy and surgery. Stem cell therapy has been widely studied in the treatment of SUI in recent years due to its potential to regenerate damaged tissues. This article discusses the main types, treatment methods, clinical trials and other research progress of stem cell therapy for SUI. In recent years, adipose-derived stem cells, muscle-derived stem cells, bone marrow-derived stem cells and human amniotic fluid-derived stem cells have been applied to the treatment of SUI, and a variety of treatment techniques have been applied. Preclinical and clinical trials have shown the therapeutic effects of stem cells.
