- Abstract: Liver cancer has the characteristics of high incidence rate, high malignancy and hidden disease. At present, the treat¬ment of liver cancer mainly includes surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, but the prognosis is poor. Therefore, it is very important to explore the pathogenesis of liver cancer and find ef¬fective drugs on this basis.Protein post-translational modifica¬tion is a hot topic in epigenetics.Recent studies have found that the occurrence and development of liver cancer is related to the abnormality of post-translational modification, and can be used as a target for the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer. This article reviews the relationship between the major protein post- translational modifications discovered in recent years and liver cancer, and provides clues for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of liver cancer.
