Summary Cutaneous manifestations of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) are variable. We present a case of non-drug related symmetrical flexural and intertriginous exanthema in a patient with COVID-19 infection. A 58-year-old Chinese male who was diagnosed to have COVID-19 infection, developed maculopapular erythematous rashes at bilateral axillary and inguinal folds on the fourth day of illness. He was treated symptomatically with anti-histamine and topical corticosteroid. The skin condition improved and he was discharged well on tenth day of illness. Although symmetrical flexural intertriginous exanthema isclassically caused by drug reaction, this case demonstrated the possibility of the rash being directly associated with COVID-19 infection. More cohorts should be evaluated to fully describe the full spectrum of dermatological manifestation in COVID-19.

Anetoderma is characterized by atrophic patches located mainly on the upper trunk. Secondary anetoderma occurs in the courses of various diseases, such as syphilis, lupus erythematosus, and leprosy. Among them secondary anetoderma due to pilomatricoma is rare and has a characteristic skin manifestation such as scrotal skin or round striae. Herein we report four cases of pilomatricomas with secondary anetodermic cutaneous changes. The overlying skin appeared variously as a pinkish, wrinkled, bag-like bulged, or scar-like atrophic surface. However the histopathologic examination showed commonly a prominent decrease of elastic fibers in the dermis overlying the pilomatricoma mass.

Multiple myeloma is a plasma cell disorder that constitutes 10% of all haematopoietc neoplasias. Although it is a systemic disorder affecting various organs involving bones and kidneys, skin involvement is a rare finding which has never been reported in Korea. Recently, we experienced a case of multiple myeloma recurring as a single lesion of erythematous nodular rash and herein we report this case with brief review of literatures.

A 24-year Korean woman presented with bizarre pigmentary skin changes. Eruptive vellus hair cysts (EVHC) were observed in conjunction with Hypomelanosis of Ito (HI). Also, the karyotype of 45XO with typical clinical symptoms of Turner's syndrome was detected in this patient, which has been rarely reported in HI as a chromosomal defect. EVHC may manifest as a rare skin manifestation of Hl.

The skin is the most visible and easily accessible organ of the body. Therefore, as a readily available indicator, it can give a clue to many underlying systemic diseases ; it has great diagnostic implications, serving as a window to the diseases affecting the internal organs. Recognition of dermatological manifestations of systemic diseases is practically important for all practicing clinicians. In many instances, the recognition of the skin signs of systemic diseases should minimize the cost of diagnostic testing. Generally, skin symptoms are quite commonly associated with systemic disease. Various skin manifestations have been observed in patients with either benign of malignant systemic diseases, and they often give a clue to or confirm the underlying diseases. This lecture summarizes the cutaneous manifestations and specific skin signs that help to differential diagnoses of systemic diseases.
