Objective] To study the effect of needle warming moxibustion and electroacupuncture in treatment of knee osteoarthritis. [Methods] 171 cases of patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into 3 groups: acupuncture and moxibustion group, electroacupuncture group, control group of 57 cases in each. The efficacy of the 3 groups was compared after 2 courses of post. [Results] Efficiency of the 3 groups of patients had no significant difference(P>0.05); The cure rate and significant efficiency rate of 3 groups were significantly different( P<0.05), it showed that the improvement of curative effect of each group was different;on the efficacy of the 3 groups through Kruskal-Wallis H, P<0.05, there was statistically significant difference among 3 groups. [Conclusion] The needle warming moxibustion has a best treatment effect and the electroacupuncture takes the second place. We should expand the use of acupuncture and moxibustion for the disease in clinic, the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture has a gap with the needle warming moxibustion.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2015;(2):105-106
Purpose] This paper aims to summarize the clinical practice of using Buzhong Yiqi Decoction to treat the obstructed nine orifices. [Approach] After explaining Li Dongyuan’s theory that those obstructed nine orifices reflecting headaches and tinnitus are caused by intestines and stomach diseases, which is in his Suwen On Deficiency and Excess and analyzing several simple cases of using buzhong yiqi decoction to treat the obstructed nine orifices, this paper tries to trace the theoretical origin of Prof. Lian’s practice and present the practical experience of flexible usage of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction. [Result] The outcome of several patients under treatment shows that the short-and-mid-term treatment is very effective. [Conclusion] Prof. Lian’s philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine reflects his attitude that “those patients suffering from insufficiency of primordial Qi and clear Yang failing to distribute”or“clear Yang coming out of stomach”ask for strengthening the spleen and stomach so their stomach recovers to the healthy state. As a result, their Yang Qi has been greatly improved, the spleen and stomach in the middle energizer have returned to their original place, reaching the autonomous regulation of the nine orifices, which has shed some light on the usefulness of Buzhong Yiqi on treatment diseases other than those of spleen and stomach.
6.Clinical Experience of Professor Shen Hong for Treating Chronic Atrophic Gastritis
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2015;(5):345-347
Objective] To summarize professor Shen Hong's clinical experience in treating chronic atrophic gastritis. [Method] By following the teacher clinic and sorting out the related medical materials, the author summarizes professor Shen Hong's academic experience of treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis, and for proven cases. [Result] Professor Shen Hong thinks that the essence of pathogenesis is the weakness of the spleen and stomach. Qi stagnation, damp stagnation and blood stasis are common pathological factors. The characteristic of the disease is deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality. The location of disease is in stomach, relating to liver and spleen. The principle of treatment should be strengthening the spleen and stomach. It is also very important to treat accompanying symptoms and balance property of Chinese medicines. Prof. Shen emphasizes the combination of disease and syndrome differentiation and the integration of TCM and western medicine. He attaches much weight to diet and psychotherapy. 8.A Case Study on Bilingual Classroom Teaching Model in TCM Universities:Science of Clinical Rehabilitation
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2015;(5):401-405
Objective] To probe into a case of bilingual classroom teaching model in a TCM university, expect to find that if the current bilingual teaching could achieve the goal of raising ability both in disciplinary knowledge and language competence advocated by content-based instruction teaching idea, explore the possible problems and propose some corresponding solutions. [Methods] Empirical research method was used to execute quantification statistics on classroom teaching activity and the discourse between teacher and students, combining with qualitative data from questionnaires and interviews. By the methods above, this paper expected to embody the present situation and problems of the bilingual teaching in a TCM university. [Results] For classroom teaching both in disciplinary knowledge and language forms, there was a phenomenon that input and output forms were single, so that the function of other effective classroom activities was ignored. It was still a teacher-centered classroom with teacher as the main body of classroom. Students' insufficient competence and teachers' limited level were still a main problem to be solved. Compared with time of disciplinary knowledge, focus on language was less and the output time of language was compressed. [Conclusion] It's necessary to richen the classroom teaching mode. Cognition of both teacher and students on bilingual teaching shall change, giving consideration to disciplinary knowledge and language competence, overcoming language weakness and facilitating the two-sided promotion.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2015;(5):398-400
Objective] To analyse the effect of combining acupuncture of soothing liver, smooth liver and nourishing kidney with Amlodipine Besylate Tablets on light, medium hyperactivity of liver-YANG syndrome hypertension. [Methods] From January 2013 to January 2014, we collected 60 patients with hyperactivity of liver-YANG syndrome meeting the criterion. 30 patients in control group, taking Amlodipine Besylate Tablets, 14 male, 16 female, average age was 62.0 years old(54~72 years old); 30 cases in treatment group, on the basis of control group using soothing liver, smooth liver and nourishing kidney acupuncture, 13 males, 17 females, average age was 61.5 years old(53~73 years old). Patients were collected 24 hours ambulatory blood pressure, anxiety, TCM syndrome integral before and after treatment. [Results] After treatment, control group and the treatment group of ambulatory blood pressure, anxiety and TCM syndrome integral was significantly improved, the differences were statistically significant( P<0.05). In treatment group, daytime systolic blood pressure, daytime diastolic blood pressure, nighttime systolic blood pressure, nighttime diastolic blood pressure, 24h diastolic blood pressure and 24h systolic blood pressure were decreased significantly lower than the control group, and anxiety value, TCM syndrome integral was also improved better than control group(P<0.05). [Conclusion] Soothing liver, smooth liver and nourishing kidney acupuncture combined with oral drug can effectively control blood pressure for hyperactivity of liver-YANG syndrome hypertension patients; meantime it also can significantly relieve the TCM syndrome and anxiety symptom.

[Method] Randomly divide 60 cases into control group and treatment group, 30 cases in each;the control one took conventional pediatric tuina method; the treatment one took “eliminating the accumulative stagnation and heat with pressing and kneading manipulation”method. Compare their effects after three courses. [Result] After three courses treatment, in treatment group, 20 cases had marked effect, 8 effective, 2 void, total effective rate 93.33%;in control group, they were respectively 10,12,8 and 73.33%. The comparison of total effective rates had difference of statistical significance(P<0.05). [Conclusion] The method of “eliminating the accumulative stagnation and heat with pressing and kneading manipulation”has better curative effect than the conventional pediatric tuina method. And it is very simple to manipulate, and worthy of being popularized.
